In order to do settings of the streamer like connect to Wi-Fi or connect to Bluetooth speakers you have to use the web pages of the streamer. The web address for the start page is http:/player.local.

Unfortunately, so far most versions of Android OS cannot resolve the local URL http://player.local to an IP address. That is pretty annoying since you have to find and enter the actual IP address of the streamer into the browser’s address bar, every time...

Here we explain how you can find the IP address.

Setting up the Network Music Streamer is pretty straight forward. Attach the power cable and turn on the streamer. You use the original on-off button.

It is worthwhile to connect the Network Music Streamer to Wi-Fi. When the streamer is connected to your home Wi-Fi network you can stream Spotify and do settings of the streamer itself like connect Bluetooth speakers. Many devices can share the streamer at the same time - share the music.

Scan for a Wi-Fi network called Player. The Wi-Fi device name is Player. Connect to Player and go to the web page 10.0.0.10 there you can connect the streamer to your home network.

Connect to the Network Music Streamer to Bluetooth and you can stream music directly from your phone. You can also connect a Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth headphone to the streamer instead of using wired speakers. Streaming Bluetooth to the streamer when it is connected to a Bluetooth speaker works. The Bluetooth device name of the Network Music Streamer is Player.

Open up your Spotify app and choose the Player as a device. The network music streamer's devices name is Player. The music is directly streamed from Spotify's servers to the streamer. All family members and guests can easily connect the Player to their Spotify apps on their own phones, tablets or computers.
